Many friends in this district will mourn the passing of an upright, honest and friendly character. The late Mr. Angus, a native of Adelaide, formerly conducted a store at Eldorado, which his son Colin still carries on. Later, he lived at Narre Warren and Beaconsfield before retiring to Dandenong.

He is survived by his wife, five sons and four daughters, all of whom have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends in the passing of a devoted husband and loving father. In accordance with deceased’s wishes his funeral on Tuesday was a private one, but was largely attended. Among the mourners were fellow members of the Masonic fraternity. The pall bearers were Dr. Roy Angus; E. L., W. R., and K. Angus, H. K. Lamb, R. Tivendale, C. Hayhow and S. Wenn. Rev. V. P. Hadley conducted the service at the Spring Vale Crematoriun Chapel. W. J.
