    BEDGGOOD v. BEDGGOOD. This was a petition by Jeannie Bedggood, of 309 Lygon-street, Carlton, stationer, for a divorce from her husband, Thomas Bedggood, on the ground of desertion. Mr. Woolf, instructed by Mr. A. R. Daly, appeared in support of the petitioner. The parties were married at Prahran on the 28th December, 1869. In the year 1883 respondent deserted her, stating that he was going to Queensland. She had not seen him since except once, about 6 years ago, when he was very drunk. On that occasion he did not offer to provide a home for her, but said she could get along better without him. A decree nisi was granted.6
