  • 22 Sep 1927: BEACONSFIELD UPPER Mr W. Millar died on Wednesday morning after a brief illness from bronchial pneumonia. Mr. Millar was an old resident, and widely esteemed.
    He was actively interested in the school committee, a zealous worker for the church and superintendant of the local Sunday school, in addition to being interested in many things for the improvement of the district.17
