Education*13 Mar 1864 Was enrolled at Scotch College as Louis Williams (evidently his preferred name, or at least the name by which he was known) on 13 March 1864 while living at 227 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne. He was Anglican. He attended Scotch until at least the end of 1866. In July 1871 he passed the Civil Service Exam and in 1873 he was noted as working in the Titles Office.2
