    The Beaconsfield Upper Mothers Club’s annual meeting on March 26th was well attended, and the following office-bearers were elected: President, Mrs. Higgs; Secretary, Mrs. A. Chandler; Vice-presidents, Mrs. Sullman, Mrs. May; Treasurer, Mrs. Eastham.
    Mr. Higgs, head-teacher at the local State School, warmly thanked the club for the wonderful work it has done for the school, and the mothers for their interest and co-operation in the work of the school. He wished the club another happy and successful year, and thanked the retiring office-bearers, Mrs. Sullman (president), and Mrs. Fairless (secretary), for the excellent work they had done.4
