  • 15 May 1936: Dr WILBUR K. BOUTON, president of the Prince Henry's Hospital Committee, who died at his residence in Collins Street at the age of 80, was buried in the Melbourne General Cemetery privately yesterday afternoon. He came to Melbourne from the United States 55 years ago, and became a resident medical officer of the Homoeopathic (now Prince Henry's) Hospital. After having been senior honorary surgeon, and chairman of the honorory medical staff, he was elected in 1894 to the board of management. For nine years he was vice-president, and he had been president since 1918. He has left daughter, Miss Gertrude Bolton.5
