  • 28 Aug 1903: MELBOURNE STUDENT'S DEATH. DROWNED IN THE THAMES London, 27th August.
Mr. Arthur Terry, a Melbourne student at the London Dental Hospital, was, while bathing in the Thames, near Richmond, yesterday accidentally drowned. Mr. Arthur Terry, who was 21 years of age, is the son of Mr. Albert Terry, of "Verulam," Mont Albert-road, Canterbury. He had been only seven months at the London Dental Hospital, and was making good progress in his professional studies. The news of his untimely death naturally inflicted a severe shock upon his relatives, to whom the above message was communicated last evening. They had previously received a preparatory cable message from London announcing the serious illness of Mr. Arthur Terry.3
